Thornleigh is a close-knit community located in Towson, Maryland and is in Baltimore County. The Thornleigh neighborhood consists of 232 families. Thornleigh is in the Baltimore County Public Schools district. Our public schools are Riderwood Elementary School, Dumbarton Middle School, and Towson High School. Centrally located in Thornleigh is the Valley Swim and Tennis Club for neighbors to join. The neighborhood is easily accessible to Interstates 695 and 83, making Towson and York Road, as well as downtown, within easy reach.
We are a covenant neighborhood that helps preserve the charming curb appeal maintained by neighbors for decades. The original housing styles consist of five models: a three-bedroom Colonial, a four-bedroom Rancher, two styles of three-bedroom split-level, and a three-bedroom semi-detached. The main goal of this website is to provide various resources for our neighbors. On this website you will find information about events happening in Thornleigh, the community Covenants, and lots of county and neighborhood services. Neighbors are asked to make a voluntary $30 contribution annually. This revenue helps the the TIA enforce the covenants, hold and promote community events, and other administrative functions. We also ask for a $50 contribution to our Flock Security System to help keep our neighborhood safe! |
